The 5TONIC Laboratory is proud to announce that it will be hosting the first OSM Mid-Release meeting of the ETSI Open Source MANO (OSM) group. The meeting will be held in the University Carlos III of Madrid (UC3M), Spain, starting on 28 June and finish on 1 July.
Open Source Mano (https://osm.etsi.org/) is an ETSI-hosted project to develop an Open Source NFV Management and Orchestration (MANO) software stack aligned with ETSI NFV. OSM is closely aligned with the evolution of ETSI NFV and will provide a regularly updated reference implementation of NFV MANO. This group uses well established tools and methods popular with the Open Source community, under the Apache Public License 2.0. The project integrates existing open source modules from Telefonica’s OpenMANO project, Canonical’s Juju Charms and Rift.io orchestrator.
ETSI OSM was created by a group of Service Providers and Solution Vendors. Founding members included BT, Canonical, Intel, Mirantis, RIFT.io, Telefónica and Telenor. Since then, the group has been joined by several other organisations growing the community to over 30 members.
