Agustín Santos Méndez new Research Support member

Agustín Santos Méndez has become a member of our Research Support team. He will be working as a Research Engineer in the SOCAM project, lead by Antonio Fernández Anta, Senior Researcher at the Institute.

Prior to his incorporation to IMDEA Networks, Agustín has worked as an Entrepreneur and as a Lecturer at University Rey Juan Carlos, in Madrid. His research interests are in the fields of Distributed Systems, Game theory and Big Data (the area that studies the processing of enormous volumes of data). He recently obtained his PhD from University Rey Juan Carlos in June 2013. The title of his PhD Thesis is “Quid Pro Quo: Mecanismos para la asignación de tareas en entornos distribuidos”.
