NETCOM Research Group

This project focuses on developing engineering solutions for the optimal provision of advanced telematic services to moving vehicular networks. It is a joint effort by research groups of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Universidad de Vigo, and Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña. More precisely, this project consists of three fundamental work areas: (1) Service provision in the mobile network; (2)Service provision in the core network; (3) New technologies for supporting the network heterogeneity into the mobile subnetwork, the core and the fixed-mobile interface. In addition, a testbed will integrate the technology produced in each work area.
