Evgenia Christoforou, a PhD Student at IMDEA Networks under the supervision of Dr. Antonio Fernández Anta, has been selected to participate in the 2nd Heidelberg Laureate Forum. 200 young researchers from 60 countries have been selected to meet leading researchers in mathematics and computer science for a week of scientific exchange and interdisplicinary dialogue across generations and beyond cultural barriers. This event will feature a total of 25 Abel, Turing, Fields and Nevanlinna Laureates, winners of the highest distinctions in mathematics and computer science. The laureates will offer their support and impart their knowledge to the young researchers during the six-day HLF. Attendance to this event is highly selective as it provides a unique opportunity for aspiring research talent to meet role models and establish personal communication with them.

The 2nd Heidelberg Laureate Forum will take place from September 21st to the 26th, 2014, in Heidelberg, Germany.
