FLYNETDomenico Giustiniano, a Research Assistant Professor at IMDEA Networks, is co-chairing the Workshop FLYNET: Micro and Nano Aerial Vehicle Networks for Civilian Use, to be hosted at ETH Zürich, on November 3-5, 2014. This event presents a program of distinguished invited speakers, experts in key domains of micro and nano aerial vehicle (MAV and NAV) systems.

FLYNET aims at discovering novel methods to turn micro and nano aerial vehicle systems for civilian use into a reality by targeting the unsolved original topic of multi-hop aerial networking in fleets. FLYNET will explore the unique features of aerial vehicle networks such as unstable wireless link dynamics and the robotic nature of MAVs and NAVs serving a specific, application-dependent mission.

This event is promoted by the SWARMIX project.
