On April 12, 2018, the European Commission published the 2018 call for the following actions in the framework of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships Topic (Horizon 2020, Pillar: Excellent Science; Work Programme Year: H2020-2018-2020):

- MSCA-IF-EF-SE Society and Enterprise panel
- MSCA-IF-EF-RI Reintegration panel
- MSCA-IF-EF-CAR Career Restart panel
This colloquium will be addressed to those interested in submitting a proposal for international mobility at postdoctoral level or interested in hosting a fellow from abroad, who fulfills the eligibility criteria for this call. The speaker will share tips and suggestions for a successful proposal preparation and will explain the evaluation procedures of the MSCA-IF scheme.
About George Kontaxakis
George Kontaxakis is associate professor at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain, and visiting professor of Radiology at the Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA. He studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens, Greece and carried out his graduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at Rutgers University, NJ, USA. His international mobility in research includes shorter or longer stays, during his earlier postdoctoral years in the ´90s, in France, Germany and Australia. Since 2003 (FP6 and onwards) he participates as proposal evaluator for the European Commission in the schemes of individual mobility grants, among others.
